About Dr. Uri Sternberg

Bridging Research and the Classroom

Dr. Uri Sternberg is a specialist in pedagogical innovation with nearly two decades of experience leading professional learning and development for educators. His career is defined by a unique dual perspective: a deep academic background combined with extensive hands-on experience in both primary and secondary classrooms. Currently a University Lecturer and Researcher, Dr Sternberg focuses on translating complex, evidence-based strategies into simple, "classroom-ready" tools. Over the past 20 years, he has led and published extensive research on innovative pedagogy and alternative assessment, ensuring that every strategy shared in his workshops is grounded in rigorous, peer-reviewed data. Most recently, Dr Sternberg has served as a key researcher in a major international study led by a Professor from the University of Melbourne’s Faculty of Education. This longitudinal research has validated the Strengths-Based approach as a powerful driver for student self-efficacy, enhanced teacher-student relationships, and a measurably more positive school climate.
